Q: When is Trash Pick-up and Heavy Trash Day?
A: Trash is picked up on Wednesdays. Please have your trash container at the curb by 7AM. Trash container wheels should be curbside so the truck arm can safely pick-up the container and empty it in to the truck. Trash is not accepted outside of the 96 Gallon container except on heavy trash days. Heavy trash is the third full week of the month. More information can be found at the Indy.gov trash website.

Q: When is the annual neighborhood dues payment due?
A: As a paying GLNA residential member this payment is annually paid in by January 31st.
Q: What expenses does GLNA have?
A: GLNA pays for many different aspects of maintaining the neighborhood that would otherwise not be covered by the city. We pay for landscaping and mowing services to keep the entrances of the neighborhood beautiful. One of our most regular expenses is for the streetlights. They are leased from Indianapolis Power and Light, so we don’t have to take care of the maintenance, but we do pay a monthly charge for each one. The lights that illuminate the entrance signs are owned by the association and we pay regular electric rates for them. Also, in the winter, we pay for private plowing services as the city trucks do not come to our neighborhood until all public streets are cleared. Other expenses include printing and mailing of the newsletter and annual meeting reminder notices, supplies for neighborhood cleanup projects, the annual block party, as well as administrative fees such as the annual state filing fee for the organization. Officers and Directors are volunteers and often donate small items to help out, as well as their time and efforts.
